Progress towards in-situ traceability and digitalization of temperature measurements

Autonomous control systems rely on input from sensors, so it is crucial that the sensor validated to ensure ‘right’ and measurements are traceable International System of Units. The measurement temperature widespread, its reliable key maximising product quality, optimising efficiency, reducing waste minimizing emissions such as CO2 other harmful pollutants. Degradation sensors in harsh environments high temperature, contamination, vibration ionising radiation causes a progressive loss accuracy not apparent.
